Midsummer's night! The eve of the Summer Solstice! By whatever name, this is generally acknowledged as THE most magical night of the year! And what could be more magical than the evening we have planned for you as the grand finale to the Dalkey Book Festival?

Begin the evening with some pink bubbly on the beautifully landscaped lawns of an 18th Century Castle as you listen to live background jazz and look out over magnificent views of Dublin Bay. This is Dalkey’s very own 4* Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel. As the sun goes down, head into the majestic ballroom and out to the back lawn – Great Gatsby-style - for a delicious BBQ. Music and dancing will go on till late as we bid farewell to the 1st Dalkey Book Festival and to Spring. And to end it all with a truly memorable experience, stay the night for only €99.00 B&B per room.
