Specific emphasis is on:
Identifying the source of the injury, understanding the factors that may have contributed to it and the impact of related pain on the client's well-being.
Trigger Point Therapy: Trigger points are hyper irritable spots in muscles that refer pain to other parts of the body. The pain can present itself in many different forms e.g. dull ache, sharp pain, pins and needles, tingling sensation, heat or coldness. By addressing the trigger point(s), muscles are restored to a healthy state and pain is eliminated.
Rehabilitation: The goal is to increase an individual's strength and flexibility. Treatment consists of a thorough assessment of the individual's range of motion, followed by the therapist working with the client to develop a program tailored to their needs.
Posture correction: Poor posture can create an imbalance in the skeletal system resulting in pain, discomfort and lethargy. By working with an individual on correcting their posture, health and energy are restored.
Other treatments include Deep Tissue massage, Swedish massage and Sports massage.
