One day in early March of this year, my friend Mary and I went out onto the streets of Dalkey town to talk to businesses and residents about how we can all work a litt le bit closer together as a community.
Since that day the response has been overwhelming – a unanimous expression of confidence, positivity and hope for the future, despite the challenges we collectively face. The result is Dalkey Business Group, and we are delighted to see that through this process of getting to know each other, the first Dalkey Book Festival has been established. We are all very proud of this achievement in such a short space of time. A huge thank you to all involved and enjoy the festival!
